Background: Robert has over twelve years experience in advertising, business planning, business law, financial management and analysis, entrepreneurship, marketing, strategic planning, and business start-ups. For the past seven years, Robert has taught as a Professor in the areas of business management, marketing, business law, electronic marketing, and finance. Robert has actively participated in many successful start-up ventures, including, companies operating in the areas of consumer finance, information technology, manufacturing, and online retail.
Experience: As a business counselor, Robert has developed business plans, financial models, electronic marketing campaigns, bank financing proposals, and white papers used successfully to start many businesses. While still a student at the University Detroit-Mercy’s MBA program, where he majored in Marketing and Finance, Robert co-founded one of the first consumer finance companies focused on the sub-prime manufactured housing market.
Robert also has extensive, hands-on experience managing cross-functional teams comprised of marketing, business development, engineering, customer support, design, research, and third-party vendors. Robert’s industry experience includes: online retail, professional services, information technology, and manufacturing.
Robert is also a SCAO-approved business mediator. Robert has completed facilitations and mediations in business transactions, employment and labor law, commercial transactions, real estate, insurance, construction, technology, ICANN and e-commerce disputes, proprietary rights, personal injury, insurance, and probate cases. Robert has participated as both a trainer and student in numerous 40-hour mediator training programs.
Education: Robert has a Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School (magna cum laude), an M.B.A. from the University Detroit-Mercy (cum laude), and a B.A. in Political Science/Pre-Law from Michigan State University.

Background: Trevor is CEO READY's retail operations and merchandising specialist. Trevor has an accomplished career in retail merchandising, inventory management, financial management and analysis, strategic planning, and packaging. Trevor retired early as an award winning merchandiser and buyer with the K-mart Corporation in Troy, Michigan for over 14 years.
Experience: As a retail analyst and buyer with K-mart, Trevor lead a team of buyers and merchandisers responsible for inventory management and logistics for most of K-mart's East Coast stores and superstores. Trevor developed an expertise in many areas of retail operations, including:
• retail marketing strategies
• retail merchandising plans
• Point of Sale (POS) analysis, selection and optimisation
• design and implementation of management reporting systems
• open-to-buy inventory systems

Jennifer is an accomplished entrepreneur with over 10 years experience in the retail and online garment industries. Jennifer remains active in the garment industry organizations and now focuses much of her efforts assisting online, home-based businesses. Jennifer is also a guest business writer for numerous local business publications.
Experience: As a prior and current small business owner, Jennifer understands the pitfalls associated with small business ownership and how to overcome them. Jennifer mentors many local home-based businesses and provides expertise in the areas of inventory management, marketing, e-commerce, website design, and quality management.
